Copenhagen

Jackie and I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days to relax in Copenhagen, Denmark before we met the rest of the group to head to Riga, Latvia. The 6 hour time difference, caused us some sleeping problems but we adjusted and did a walking tour of downtown Copenhagen in the wind, rain and snow. The pictures below show some street scenes in Copenhagen. We felt very at home, English was easily understood, we saw McDonalds and Burger Kings as well as H &M stores and many designer clothing stores. We ate in a pub type restaurant, the food was very good.











Our accomodations were very nice we are staying in the Scandic that has a lovely restaurant. We did some shopping in a local mall on Thursday and did a lot of sleeping.

Today is Friday, we will be heading to the Copenhagen airport to meet our fellow "missionaries" and start our journey to Riga and begin the work we came here to do.
